Travelling

Cancer patients may have impaired mobility after the disease and a series of treatments, causing inconvenience to everyday life. This may hinder the patient from attending regular follow-up appointment and normal social activities. Notwithstanding such difficulties, normal social activities not only help with the recovery, but also facilitate the reintegration into society.

Barrier-free facilities are provided in Hong Kong in order to improve the accessibility for people with impaired mobility. There are accessible transport services available such as Rehabus and Easy-Access Bus. Please visit the Transport Department's website for details.
